Dr. Petrauskaite gained extensive experience in low vision and ocular diseases, such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy, during her time at the Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center. She further expanded her expertise in ocular disease and refractive surgery, including cataract surgery and LASIK, at Swagel Wootton in Arizona. Completing her optometric training at Womack Army Medical Center in Fort Bragg, North Carolina, she developed advanced skills in managing acute ocular diseases and fitting complex cases with specialized contact lenses.
Dr. Petrauskaite is dedicated to comprehensive eye care, with a special interest in myopia control, aiming to help children preserve their vision. She believes in the importance of individualized care, especially in our digital age.
Outside the clinic, she enjoys camping with her husband and their golden retriever Baxter, traveling, and a friendly game of pickleball with friends.
